A few additional information
Those eligible for these one-time direct cash payments must be at least 18 years old and have an income under 50% of Seattle’s median income as well as be or be living with someone who is one of these:
Living within Seattle
Enrolled in the Seattle Promise Program
Enrolled in Seattle Public Schools
An artist or cultural worker who has owned or rented a space within Seattle at any time since March 2020.
In order to make 50% of Seattle’s median income, an individual must make less than $40,500 a year, and a family of four must make less than $57,850.

Event: Taste of Eritrea

Report:

Church members and visitors eagerly wait for the annual “The Taste of Eritrea” event. It is an event where non-Eritreans are invited to come and enjoy a delicious, authentic, and all-organic food. Coffee is served while smelling the aroma of the roasted coffee. In the event, other art works is displayed reflecting the artistic tools, dresses, food preparations and the like reflecting the life style of Eritreans.

In a similar way, this year “The Taste of Eritrea” was conducted attracting many non-Eritreans without deterrence of COVID 19. The organizers were very cautious that the COVID 19 rules and guidelines were adhered. The visitors were asking several questions about the food and the objectives of the event. From the feedback, it was apparent that the event was edutaining, and fulfilling.

I hope to see everyone in “The Taste of Eritrea” happening next year as well.

ድሕሪ “ኣብ ገዛኩም ጽንሑ ዝብል” ትእዛዝ እቲ ለበዳ ጎዲሉ ነይሩ። ሕጂ ድማ ቁጽሪ ዝተለኽፉ እንዳዓበየ ይኸይድ ኣሎ። እዚውን ኣብ ሕብረተሰብ ብሕልፊ እቶም ነቲ ሕማም ዝተቓልዑ ሞት ከስዕብ ይኽእል’ዩ።
ኮቪድ-19 ንምክልኻል መሸፈኒ ኣፍ ወይ ማስክ ምግባር ኣዝዩ ኣገዳሲ ኢዩ። ምኽንያቱ፣
-       ንስኻ እትገብሮ ማስክ ንኻልኦሎት ይከላኸለሎም ንሳቶም ዝገብርዎ ማስክ ድማ ንዓኻ ይከላኸለልካ፡
-       ማስክ ምግባር ካብ ኣፍን ኣፍንጫን ዝወጽእ ነጠብጣብ ናብ ኣየር ከይብተን’ሞ ብኻልኦት ብትንፋስ ከይሰሓብ ይከላኸል፡
መጽናዕቲታት ከምዝሕብርዎ ክታበት ኮቪድ-19 ክሳብ ዝርከብ መሸፈኒ ገጽ ምግባር ኣዝዩ ውጽኢታውን ቀሊልንን መከላከሊ ዝርግሐ ኮቪድ-19 ኢዩ።
ናይ ሓደ ስድራ ኣባላት እንተዘይኰንኩም ኩሉግዜ ርሕቀትኩም ሓልዉ።

Tigrigna – Online Learning Approach

Hi,This is ghebre – tigrigna teacher for your child. I hope everyone is healthy. We will use online learning system. And here are the steps to follow to help your kid login.

1) visit www.abbaselama.org/wp

2) click on dashboard

3) write email and password and press login  — please text message to 2063779522, I will give you the email and password for your kid. Note that email is firstname@gmail.com and password is firstname. For example: for me, email is ghebre@gmail.com and password is ghebre

4) once inside, click on dashboard and click on “enrolled courses”.  To your right (if you are on laptop or desktop) or at the bottom (if on phone) click on the course that you will be working on. There are two classes. I have a class for level 1 and for level 2. There are few students whom I have assigned the two courses. If your child is assigned to (enrolled in) the two classes, pleass, let them start working on level 1 (tigrigna class 1). If you have any questions about this let me know.5) start learning by clicking on the lessons.6) if you have any questions let me know.
